Tea Station, OPAVIVARÁ! Utupya

Arciform was commissioned by Tate Liverpool to fabricate a set of communal tea tables based on an initial concept sketch by the artist collective OPIVIVARA!

We developed the design to ensure proportion and scale were right for functionality and ease of use. This included hidden storage in the centre of the tables for extra supplies to be stored out of sight, and with additional space in each of the lidded seats for personal items to be stowed safely away.

Once the final design was agreed, the tables were fabricated at our workshop and then installed at Tate Liverpool.
