Bell Jar Table

Designed as the centrepiece to 'Object Lessons' at Manchester Museum, this bell jar table housed papier-mâché flowers, glass jellyfish, and velvet mushrooms on show as part of a collection of Victorian life science models and illustrations.

Designed by Modern Designers, Arciform developed their design aspiration to deliver a museum quality display that was beatifully crafted, environmentally sensitive to the objects, and secured against inquisitive fingers. Fabricated at our Liverpool workshop and installed on site by our team of technicians.

Although produced for a temporary exhibition, the build quality is evidenced by the fact that the table continues to be used for different exhibitions at Victoria Gallery & Museum, Liverpool.
